Jessica Timmins, LVT — Hospital Manager
Jessica knew from a very young age that she wanted to work with animals. As a child, she was involved in several 4-H programs and helped to get an equine program started for the horseback riding club she was involved in. She began working at Middletown Veterinary Hospital as an assistant in the spring of 1998 while attending Minisink Valley School.
Upon graduation in 1999, Jessica left for SUNY Delhi College of Technology to obtain her degree as a Veterinary Technician. She returned to Middletown Veterinary Hospital in 2001 as a licensed technician and became our Hospital Manager in 2012.
Jessica and her husband John share their home with their son Gabriel, four cats, Jade, Jenna, Jeice, and Skitty, and two dogs, Broly and Piccolo.
Jennifer Freestone, LVT — Veterinary Technician
Jennifer has an associate's degree in Veterinary Science from SUNY Delhi and is also licensed as a veterinary technician through NYS. She has been employed at our hospital since 1995, first as an assistant and now as a veterinary technician. Jen lives in Middletown with her husband, two children, dog Dexter, and cat Tucker.
Alysha Hedding, LVT — Veterinary Technician
Alysha is a licensed veterinary technician from Chester, NY. She graduated from SUNY Brockport in 2013 with a bachelor's degree in biology, and a minor in chemistry. She received her associate’s degree in applied science from SUNY Delhi in 2016.
Alysha has also worked as a Kennel Attendant at Amberglo Goldens. She has a few pets of her own, including five cats, two guinea pigs, a Golden Retriever named Mouse, and a sugar glider. When she isn’t spending time with animals, she enjoys puzzles, coloring books, and collecting coins.
Crystal Smith, LVT — Veterinary Technician
Crystal started working at Middletown Veterinary Hospital in 2014. She knew from a young age that she wanted to work in veterinary medicine. Her first job was a kennel assistant in a large hospital in Albany. After graduating high school in 2009, she went to SUNY Delhi to pursue her dream of becoming a Veterinary Technician. In 2013 she graduated with two associates degrees in Veterinary Technology and Accounting.
When she is not working with your pet here at MVH, she can be found at home playing video games, listening to music, and cross stitching. She lives in Sparrowbush with her husband Brenton and their two cats, Shadow and Snickers.
Phylicia Williams — Technician's Assistant
Phylicia grew up in Middletown, NY. She attended Middletown High School and SUNY Delhi for Veterinary Science. She enjoys volunteering at our local humane society and pet grooming. When she's not helping animals, Phylicia likes to read, draw and paint. She has a golden border collie mix named Rilee, a lab basenji mix named Teresa, and two cats named Noelle and Nebula.
Lauren Scauzillo — Client Care Specialist
Lauren grew up in Vernon, NJ. She attended Vernon Township High School and received her bachelor’s degree in English and Creative Writing from Montclair State University. She has worked in customer service for over 10 years and really enjoys helping both people and animals.
She currently resides in Middletown, NY with her husband, Gabe, three daughters, Sarah, Ariella, and Kaelin, and their two dogs, Wyatt and Lilo.
Cassandra Rivera — Pet Care Attendant
Born in the Bronx, Cassandra moved to Middletown in 2007 and graduated from Pine Bush High School in 2015. Her favorite part of working at Middletown Veterinary Hospital is getting to see all the different animals and being able to help them. At home she has a beagle/dachshund mix named Missy and a hamster named Butterscotch. She enjoys drawing and listening to music in her spare time.
Daniela Garcia Munoz — Pet Care Attendant
Daniela grew up in Middletown, NY, graduating from Middletown High School in 2016. She is currently attending SUNY Orange. Her love of animals has brought her to Middletown Veterinary Hospital as a pet care attendant. She hopes to pursue a career in the veterinary field.
At the moment, Daniela lives in Middletown with her pit bulll/Golden Retriever mix, Max.
